Talent Quest  Karaoke Competition Alternative to American Idol for Singers. Winners Win Trip to Record at New Priddis Music Recording Studio.

LAUGHLIN, Nev. -- After months of regional karaoke competitions, finalists from across the country hoping for their big break sold out rooms at the Tropicana Express hotel in Laughlin, Nev., for the Talent Quest National Finals. Elimination rounds were held the last week of September this year, and ended in a five-hour sing-off Saturday the 26th, in six categories: Male and Female Pop/Rock, Country, and Silvers (Over 50).

The experienced panel of judges at Talent Quest come from different musical backgrounds and vary slightly each year. However, Rick Priddis, President of Priddis Music, a major sponsor of the yearly event, has judged the Talent Quest competition since the very beginning. Rick said his company was “honored to sponsor the Grand Prize again this year.” The Top Scoring Male, DJ Hale from New Mexico, and Top Scoring Female, Tessa O’Gilvie from Florida, were each given an all-expense-paid trip to Utah, hotel accommodations, and an all-day recording session in the newly-renovated and breathtaking Castle Recording Studio, founded by Priddis Music as well. www.priddis.com/studio
